Trusco Sales Manager
The Trusco Sales Manager is responsible for selling corporate products and services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas and business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.

Job Duties

  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within our client base
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
  • Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold-calling if necessary
  • Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company
    in a positive manner
  • Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s)/service(s)
    while on-site
  • Write quotes/sales orders and present them to customers
  • Test water samples and make recommendations on treatment and sizing to customers
  • Maintain accurate records; including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms,
    billing invoices, and other documentation
  • Periodically conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars, trade show demonstrations, and other efforts
  • Make front-line assessments of market conditions and advise company of findings
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research


  • University or college degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or an acceptable combination of
    education and experience
  • 8 years of direct work experience in an internal/external water treatment sales capacity preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established
    sales quotas
  • Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management
  • Success in qualifying opportunities
  • Strong knowledge of both retail and wholesale sales principles, methods, practices,
    and techniques
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

Working Conditions

  • Some travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day and some overnight
  • Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations
  • Manual dexterity required to use laptop computer and peripherals
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs
  • Overtime as required
  • Exposure to variable weather conditions is likely

Accounting Administrator

General Job Duties:

  • Utilize cloud-based ERP system to monitor and record transactions
  • Prepare weekly reports summarizing monthly sales, orders, and projections
  • Biweekly payroll administration through service provider
  • Perform biweekly collection calls
  • Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger monthly
  • Input supplier invoices into business system, review accounts payable balances, and conduct weekly check run to pay outstanding invoices
  • Reconcile incoming cash and credit card payments with account balances
  • Daily invoicing of shipments to customers
  • Create year-end sales reports
  • Order and maintain office supply inventory

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years accounting experience

Required Skills and Training:

  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Detail oriented and reliable
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem solving abilities
  • Documentation, data analysis, research and resolution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Must have the ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
  • Aptitude to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Hours and Compensation:

  • Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
